I had the same frustration as you. I absolutely hate doing care plans but now that I am at the end of my program I understand why we have to do this. It forces us to look deep within the patient's problem and critically think. In reality, we don't get the entire night to figure out what we need to do for a specific patient. With care plans, you need to do in depth research on the patient's problem and it will help you learn what to do on the fly in specific situations.
