I wanted to do something special for my board. Our term ends in December and most of us graduate. Any ideas?

Hi! Thanks for posting to the NSNA Forum! I apologize for the delay in responding to your post. We have been working to develop access to this forum and promote it as a tool for all NSNA members. It has taken some work but in our most recent board meeting we have prioritized our digital communication and media efforts to this forum.
So, to answer your question about recognizing your board at the end of this term of service...
I assume from your question that you are a SNA President of either the state or school chapter. Understanding that as a nursing student, your resources to purchase parting gifts may be limited. A few inexpensive items which do not lack for impact and meaning include:
- Handmade, metal bookmark with the board member's name stamped/engraved on it. (https://www.etsy.com/listing/208993667/personalized-bookmark-metal-aluminium?ref=market)
- A personalized and hand written letter, possibly on nice card stock paper, thanking them for their contributions can make a wonderful statement of your appreciation. The time you take to write a personal and handwritten note will be recognized as a meaningful "thank you".
- Framed certificate of appreciation or certificate of achievement
There are likely many more ideas out there. Hopefully a few more members post their ideas here.
Regards,
Craig Reuscher Director, South NSNA
