I am a Current LPN student and was just taught about nursing forensics as an option after I complete my RN. I was just wondering if anyone knew any more information on this.

Hi so this is actually a field I am interested in. Have you checked out forensicnurses.org and the qualifications for SANE training?
Thats a good site. Was there other info you were looking for?

Hi Amberirving... NSNA is partnered with International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN). If you are an NSNA member you are eligible to receive a one-year complimentary Student membership. The website that Tanya mentioned above is the place to go for membership details. Also, we will be featuring an expert in Forensic nursing during an interactive forum at the Midyear conference in Atlanta, GA during the month of November. There will be tons of additional resources to explore and contacts to be made with people and organizations that have similar interests to yours. We'd love to see ya there! Learn more online: midyear.weebly.com/Take care, Ryan
